Origins

Hinchinbrook Island off the coast of Northern Queensland, Australia is about as close to Jurassic Park as one can get. Its enormously wild landscape teems with wildlife both above and below the water line and is home to Australia’s largest mangrove swamp. The channel is a maze of fishing opportunity from tight Barramundi lies, to vast and challenging Permit flats.
This stunning, short film follows a group of fly anglers as they spend four days chasing an array of species, learning about the ups and downs of permit fishing and experiencing one of Australia’s most unique and beautiful locations.
