Federal decision to keep Snake River dams in place is now official

The fight is far from over.

Federal agencies have finalized a plan that will keep the Snake River Dams in place.

Wild salmon advocates, tribal representatives, and renewable energy advocates, who support removing the four dams in southeastern Washington, say this decision will hurt salmon and the orcas that depend on them for food.
