Bob Gillam, reported to be one of the richest people in Alaska, and a staunch opponent of the Pebble Mine passed away last night after suffering a massive stroke.
Gillam, who owns a home in the Bristol Bay region, has bankrolled the opposition to the Pebble with millions of dollars.
