His legacy has long been established in the sporting world, and Frederick native and fly fisherman extraordinaire Bernard “Lefty” Kreh will now be remembered in his hometown with a statue in the city’s Culler Lake.
The statue, by world-renowned Knoxville-based sculptor Antonio Tobias Mendez, was unveiled in a ceremony yesterday.
