We Brits have a term for the everybody’s on holiday / vacation (paericularly our hard-working politicians) month of August – The Silly Season: that No Real News time when stupid films are released and highly improbable stupid things happen and are drawn to our befuddled attention. That Big Bucks Koi was, to use another British vernacular expression, clearly “Asking for it.” and deserved all it got (as, for that matter, do all less-“valuable”, less-garish carp).
Take Star Trek going “All Song and Dance” the other day, for that matter…time of year, brains outta gear….
