A legacy of mining development in British Columbia has already deteriorated the Similkameen River, yet proposals to greatly expand the Copper Mountain Mine threaten this transboundary watershed, Native American tribes and other local residents, and endangered salmon and steelhead. Washington state must demand action from British Columbia on mining regulatory reform before it’s too late!
