Remembering Jim Range

Jim Range and Jean Ince (courtesy of John Ince)

Jim Range may not be a name well known to some in the fly fishing world but it should be. Our friend Tom Sadler penned this tribute to Range when he died in 2009. Sadler’s words hold up as well today as they did then. His legacy is an important one and should never be forgotten.

Leadership, wisdom, and kindness like we saw in Jim doesn’t come around often. Those who knew him were the better for it. As was our country. May we never lose sight of what he taught us.
