Pebble Mine company to pay shareholders who claim they were duped

The company behind the controversial Pebble Mine in Southwest Alaska has agreed to pay nearly $6.4 million to shareholders who claim corporate leaders misled them.

According to documents filed last week in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, Vancouver-based Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd. settled with the named plaintiffs.
