Invasive Catfish Threaten Mid-Atlantic fish stocks–Including Striped Bass

Native marine life in the Chesapeake Bay faces a new threat, which could impact fisheries throughout the northeast.  It is the blue catfish.

Catfish, you ask?

The blue catfish, now threatening native fish stocks, was intentionally introduced into the Chesapeake watershed by the state of Virginia.
