Somebody’s pet goldfish is all grown up.
North Syracuse angler Joe Selover landed a 14 ½ inch goldfish while fishing from shore with his 4-weight fly rod, casting a wooly bugger streamer.
“I was there looking for bass and carp,” he said. “And then I saw two goldfish. I tried catching them a few times, but with no luck. But just as I was getting ready to leave, I finally hooked one.”
