Fisherman Attacked by Pablo Escobar’s Escaped Cocaine Hippo

Another entry for the “Bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work” book.

A ‘cocaine hippo’ belonging to Pablo Escobar, the late drug lord, attacked a man who was out fishing with friends.

Escobar, who was assassinated in December 1993, bought four hippos for his Hacienda Napoles estate in Puerto Triunf, and they have now bred into a family of over 80 hippos.
