Drought leads to recreational fishing closures in most Okanagan streams

And I thought 2021 would be the return of my annual trip to BC to see dear friends and fish some of my favorite water.

The provincial government announced Wednesday that most streams in Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon Christina Lake, Grand Forks, Osoyoos, Oliver, Keremeos, Princeton, Summerland, Peachland, and Cherryville are now closed to fishing.
