Come Face to Face with an Ancient, Giant Fish

What’s it like to unbox a giant, ancient fish? On this episode of Object of Intrigue, we visit the Wet Specimen Collection of Chicago’s Field Museum to watch the process of unpacking a Coelacanth, a fish whose species has been around for more than 400 million years and can grow to more than 2 meters (6 feet 6 inches) long and weigh up to 200 pounds.
