Jim Beam bourbon runoff causes large fish kill

Dual tragedies unfolding on the Kentucky River. Over 2 million gallons of Jim Beam bourbon was destroyed after a warehouse fire and the resulting runoff is killing fish in the Kentucky River.

It’s a disturbing scene on the Kentucky River after runoff from the Jim Beam bourbon warehouse fire leads to a large fish kill. Hundreds of fish are dead in the river which state environmental officials said would likely happen.
