Sockeye Salmon. Red Fish

Sockeye, a species of wild salmon, is born in Kamchatic waters and spends its whole life in the Pacific Ocean. Only once it returns to freshwater – to give offspring, start the circle of life, and die. It is an inexhaustible resource that feeds billions of people on the planet and restores himself every year! But soon, we may find ourselves facing the unimaginable: humans will exhaust the inexhaustible!

The WCFF mission is to inform, engage and inspire wildlife conservation through the power of film.

The North America Premiere takes place at the 10th annual WCFF in New York, NY in October 2020. A ten-day event with over 100 documentary films with panel discussion, networking, receptions, field trips and more. Films will represent over 40 nations as in previous years, with international filmmakers in attendance.
