Project to plant 100,000 mangroves

Along with flats fishing guides, school children, and local and international partners, Bonefish and Tarpon Trust undertook the next step in a significant mangrove restoration project in East Grand Bahama.

The Northern Bahamas Mangrove Restoration Project, a collaborative effort between non-profits, government agencies, and the community, plans to plant 100,000 new mangroves by the end of 2024.
