Screenshots from pro bass angler Blake Dyer’s social media showed him responding to a tweet from Texas Senator Ted Cruz saying Uganda’s new anti-gay law is horrific & wrong. “With Uganda on this one,” Dyer reportedly said in response to Cruz’s tweet.
One of Dyer’s sponsors Canyon Club Brewery immediately cut ties with him following his comment. Twitter account Patriot Takes questioned several other companies linked to Dyer to see if they had any plans to continue supporting him including Costa and Simms.
