More Juvenile Salmon & Steelhead Killed by Debris at Little Goose Dam

On Tuesday, April 11th 94 juvenile salmon and steelhead died at the Little Goose dam due to “abnormally” high debris on the Snake.

After the April 11th kill, the Army Corps said they would increase monitoring of the system to prevent further incidents. Two days ago another 2,420 juvenile salmon and steelhead were found dead at the Little Goose Lock and Dam for exactly the same reason.
