Fishing restrictions in place for Madison River

Fish restrictions have been put in place for the lower Madison River to reduce fish stress and mortality during high temperatures.

Hoot-owl fishing restrictions have been put in place, which prohibits fishing each day between 2 p.m. and midnight from the Warm Springs Boat Launch to the Madison’s confluence with the Jefferson River.
