Creekin’ the Fall – Fall Fly Fishing in the Colorado High Country

We’ve seen some welcome snowfall around Colorado this week. A little snowfall certainly doesn’t mean winter is here. It’s still October and Trouts Online and Website Manager, Alex Kass, wanted to sneak in a small creek session while they’re still eating big dry flies. So, we headed up to the high country for a quick day session throwing dry-dropper rigs.

Alex took the brand new Sage Dart fly rod (7’6″ 3 weight) for a spin and enjoyed the feel and accuracy of Sage’s most recent small stream dry fly rod.
