“Sometimes conservation feels like an ultramarathon”

Proud to call this guy my friend.

Sam Snyder, WSC’s Senior Campaign Manager in Alaska, has been working on the campaign to protect Bristol Bay for over a decade. It’s been a grueling grind at times, through three presidential administrations and the birth of his kids who are now off to school. Check out this second in the Life History Project series about a person slowly earning his place in Alaska, through this work to stop Pebble Mine.

Sam’s piece was filmed in South Central, Alaska, traditional Dena’ina territory.
