The Cascadia Tour 2019

The 2019 edition of the Cascadia Tour kicks off next week and is set to visit 4 cities in Oregon and Washington from January 30-February 2, 2019. Each reading will feature 4-5 writers, fly fishing finest art from the likes of Rachel Finn, Tyler Hackett, and Emma Yardley.

1/30/19 | Patagonia Bend | Bend, Oregon

Join us for the kick-off event in Bend, Oregon at Patagoina @ Bend. Featured writers include Scott Sadil (author of the new book of fiction, Goodnews River), Jesse L. Robbins (writer), Amanda Monthei (writer and wildland firefighter), Greg Fitz (writer and artist) and Nathaniel Riverhorse Nakadate (gonzo adventure guru). Proceeds from the Bend show will benefit The North Upmqua Foundation.

1/31/19 | Lucky Lab Brewing, Multnomah Village | Portland, Oregon

Join us at Lucky Lab Brewing’s Multnomah Village location to hear work from Cameron K Scott (poet emeritus), Nathaniel Riverhorse Nakadate, Jesse L. Robbins, Amanda Monthei, and Scott Sadil (author of Goodnews River). Proceeds from the Portland show will benefit The Mayfly Project.

2/1/19 | Emerald Water Anglers | Seattle, Washington

Back where it all began: Emerald Water Anglers in West Seattle. Join us at the shop where we’ll hear work from local writers Dylan Tomine (author of Closer to the Ground), Cameron K Scott, Nathaniel Riverhorse Nakadate, Steve Duda, and Bridget Moran. Our featured non-profit for the Seattle event is YMCA’s BOLD/GOLD Mountain School, an organization that provides opportunities for inner-city youth to experience the outdoors and learn wilderness skills. Enjoy libations from Georgetown Brewing Co., as always.

2/2/19 | Kulshan Brewing Co. Roosevelt Taproom | Bellingham, Washington

The 4th and final stop of the tour brings us to Bellingham, hometown of The Flyfish Journal, “fly fishing’s coffee table bible.” We’ll hear work from Langdon Cook, Greg Fitz, Briget Moran, Nathaniel Riverhorse Nakadate, Will Rice and Alex Collier. Our featured non-profit for the Bellingham event will be North Sound Trout Unlimited.
