Here in the Pacific Northwest when someone throws a party to raise funds for wild fish it’s usually to benefit salmon, steelhead or sea run cutthroat. This Friday, February 17th in a slight change of pace, Taimen will be the beneficiary of an event at the Georgetown Ballroom being hosted by Earl Harper and the Taimen Fund.

Taimen: A Party and a Cause will feature entertainment by South Sound Tug and Barge, craft suds from the Georgetown Brewery, some tasty food and a robust raffle and live auction with all proceeds going to help preserve the world’s largest salmonid.

So kick off The Fly Fishing Show Weekend by joining your fishing friends this Friday for some great food, drinks, and music.
