Yup. Definitely how a lot of Scotland used to be thirty to forty years ago….
And Wales, too, but much much further south and with winter rain (no, make that pretty well 365 – 24/7 hard rain (‘s gonna fall), though very occasional days- / weeks-off have been recorded, allegedly) rather than heavy winter snow.
Oh Iceland … hold on to what you’ve still got and try and get a lot more people much further south to clean up their last-gasp acts….
This from a long-time Iceland fan (little to no money, yet still had to make six very expensive visits).
