Which Presidential candidate is better for fly fishing as a whole, and your business in particular?

chump-again

That’s the question asked in a recently posted Angling Trade survey.

Our view?

Probably the one who has a formal policy statement which promises to double the size of the outdoor economy.

Not the one who would eliminate the EPA and roll back clean water protections.

Not the one who called global climate change bullshit.

Not the one who tapped Myron Ebell, a leading climate change denier, to lead his EPA transition team.

Not the one who supports drilling on public lands, off the U.S, coast, and in the arctic.

Not the one who promised to raise the Keystone XL Pipeline from the dead.

  1. We get it, you don’t support Trump. Keep shoving your political views down the throats of your readers that simply come here for fishing news. You want all flyfishermen to support a lifetime politician who’s career is engulfed in lies and scandals and even murder. Trump may not be the answer, but for you to to try to sell us on the idea that Hillary Clinton is some kind of messiah for fly fishing is preposterous. Stick to real fishing articles, not articles that can be used as a platform to share your political views.

  2. And you believe ANYTHING Mrs Clinton tells you? Only way she will help fishermen or our wild lands is it it benefits Citibank.

  3. Wow, using Hillaryclinton.com washingtonpost.com and salon.com as sources? It doesn’t get any more far left liberal than that.

    SJW much?
