Winter tides on the Gulf side of Florida expose the flats inshore more than Summer tides. This allows me to fish "holes" at low tide and the channels on the incoming tide. I am in the Tampa Bay area, but the possibilities are the same up and down the "Left Coast". Check " Tampa on the Fly" for more info.
