    Sierra Nevada 2011 ‘Wild Rivers’ Campaign

    Sierra Nevada Brewing Co, a pioneer in sustainability and craft brewing, has launched their third annual “Wild Rivers” campaign. Wild Rivers is a campaign dedicated to helping preserve vital waterways across the country.

    For every 12-pack of Sierra Nevada beer purchased in the U.S. from August 1 – September 10, Sierra Nevada will donate a portion of proceeds to partners that will benefit a river near you.

    Sierra Nevada has partnered with the following non-profit organizations across the country to protect the interest of our nations rivers.  Western River Conservancy, Ohio River Foundation, Delaware RiverKeeper, The River Project, Southeast Watershed Forum.

    How to Open a Beer 

    Tasty-Takes: A Beerman's Guide to Everything Fishing has a couple of tutorials up on how to open a bottle of beer sans opener. 

    Seriously guys? What self respecting beer drinker has not resorted to caveman instincts and used any tool at hand to crack some bottled suds? If you need lessons on how to open bottled beer without an opener I suggest switching to twist offs..... or cans.....or a piece of paper.
