Bugiardo, ubriacone, pigro e rissoso. Perfetto esemplare da taverna di porto.

The headline is the web profile of Captain Rusty Hook, the main man behind Saltwater Rusty Memories. Roughly to, liar, drunkard, lazy and quarrelsome. Perfect specimen of the port tavern.....You gotta love it.

We've been following Saltwater Rusty Memories because it is a web blood brother, the Italian embodiment of Chum. Of course we can't actually read any of it because it's all in Italian but what we see we like. It's a no holds barred look at all things fishing with a special emphasis on no holds barred. If you're brave enough to take a look at the Captain's follow up to the Tommy Lee Orca story you'll see exactly what I mean. Mixed in with the irreverent is a real serious focus on custom lures of all varieties, including the Japanese top water culture which we've been a fan boy of for sometime.

    GoFISHn

GoFISHn, a new social network for anglers, is scheduled to go 100% public today. We got an invite to sign up as a user on the beta site and despite our skepticism about a "Facebook for anglers" these guys just might pull it off.  Hit the link and see if they're live yet, if not, bookmark it and check back for launch and get signed up.
