    Surfcasters

    SURFCASTERS from ANIMALNewYork.com

Surfcasting is not just fishing–and it sure as hell isn’t boat fishing. Surfcasters stand toe-to-toe with the tide and wrestle out fish with nothing but their rods and hands.

    Welcome to Montauk.

This one puts self congratulation at a whole new high. I love fishing, i love to surf cast but i couldnt sit through that. Their poor wives and co-workers. Give me a break.

i didn't see a lot of "self congratulation" - holy s. i'm pretty damn cynical about most fishing "media". these guys just seem like passionate, avid, and obsessed. pretty cool shit, if you ask me.

That kicked ass, top notch all around. Great shots, good story, interesting characters, and sweet audio design, and the reason I know this clip is really good is that it gave me goose bumps 3 times while watching.

They are just pure hardcore steelheaders that live in the wrong place. Same animal.

This was fantastic. There are guys on Montauk that take this to a whole other level completely They put on a wetsuit and some fins and swim out into the rips in the dead of night and live line 10" black eels. That shit is cray.
