Ya buddy. That is slab o the year material. Merry Christmas.
I heard from a bird there were 2-20 pounders caught that same week!
What on earth is a size 8 midge?
A size 8 midge is HUGE! hahaha. I'm guessing that was a typo. Great fish! WOW.
game. over.
Holy hell... I didn't know cutts could get that big.
nicest cutty i have ever seen. period.
That may be the most gluttonous looking trout I've seen in a couple years worth of Chum slabs. Strong work.
slab of the year! not just because of its size. becuz its a giant lohantan makes it the prize. still water fishing at pyramid isnt easy. i have spent a lot of time at pyramid and fish like this are a true rarity. even if this doesnt win, congratulations on a truly epic fish.
hells bells that is one beefy 'throat
A size 8 midge is probably a chironomid nymph. Like a big ass colorful zebra midge. Unless it's a typo for a size 18. Either way, woah.
It was a size 8 chironomid that I caught him on.
Nothin like that in the alpine lakes
Whoa - that's huge!!! What fly pattern do you throw to hook/land a cutt slab like that???
