Recreational Fishing Alliance calls for boycott of Walmart

The Recreational Fishing Alliance is peeved that Walmart has donated funds to conservation groups working to establish Marine Reserves and Catch Share programs.

Perhaps Walmart sees some economic benefit in supporting groups that advocate for the long term sustainability of commercial and recreational fisheries?

I would highly recommend you not make snide remarks about a topic you know nothing about. I've been to the meetings with the SAFM and other government bodies making these new laws, heard there "Science" and in almost every instance its a lack of science..

Catch shares are not a good thing.. and the groups that Walmart is supporting would have fishing completely outlawed, even you trout weenies...

Im almost 100% catch and release and fly fish pretty much exclusively, and trust me, there is more at work here than you can imagine.
