great offer by ross----but there is a catch.......the reel is not dependable---------my last vexis
(of three) failed worse than the other two............ 1/16 " plastic?(derlin) drag pins were destroyed after only 2 adult steelhead barely reaching 6 lbs.....why doesn't a great reel company which was built upon the steel of the scott and salmon rivers of nor cal live up to its rep.......the originals had simple drags that worked great, , yet now 3-m is taking over----------shoulda maybe downsized and moved back to Etna for some good ole backwoods field testing-----on big fish, salmon, even up to 60 lbs, in the famous Klamath!!!! we could use some good ole fisherman support on the K anyway! no better way than to have a grassroots reel co. blow the doors off the hinges!!!!!!! come on ross reels!!! rally up!!!
these reels are not very good!!!! the drag fails almost instantly when a large fish is on-------1/16 in. drag pins won't even stop my sons pet hamster from running>>>>>>>come on ross-----back to the roots baby-----discs work!!
