Another day, another dispatch from El Paskador... this time from the other side of the lens.
Just a tad over 21 1/2 pounds....
Hooked 4 before landing this fish... bent hook, broke tippet, lost at the shoreline.. the payoff was worth it....

Why, oh why, do we have to position the fish in front of the camera so as to make it look unrealistically huge. It's obviously a nice catch, but as far as I'm concerned it detracts from the picture...and the fish.
I prefer the fish to be the focus of the picture and not angler who caught it. Isnt the idea of taking a picture of a landed fish to show the fish off, its color, size, girth, teeth, kype. I see no problem over emphasizing the fishes attributes by holding it in a way that best does it justice.
