    Visually superb yet unforgivably illiterate.

Great e-mag with stunning photography...but leads me to a question. Certainly is not enough to keep me away as it really is a quality publication full of breathataking views, but why in a digital format would you intentionally introduce an inherent weakness of print media in the form of a digitally inserted 'spine' through that gorgeous photography? Is it a limitation of the software used to produce it or an intentional design element?

Hi I'm the editor of Pool 32 Mag

Thank for your positive - and negative words - regarding the last edition of our e-mag.
I appreciate you positive feedback regarding the photo part, and to understand why I only produce this mag in a digital version - well it's simple - no paper used, no pollution at all - besides that it spread really quick, which makes this media really interesting. Right now Pool 32 Mag is read in 17 countries, and it is only our second publication.
For the future issues we will precent some interesting changes, like animations, video etc. - and we will of course do our best to improve this e-mag on every level, but we have to start somewhere :O) - and as it is right now, the feed back have been absolutely fantastic.

PS. the "spine" really "bugs me" as well - but that is the format of the player - sorry, I tried get rid of it, but so far with out any luck!! (but I'm still working on it - and I don't give up!! :O)

PPS. regarding the literate part - we have had a pr. company working for us, to find the limitation of how much text this media can handle, and it was less than we publish, so we have tried to find a balance - most pic's and less text sections, maybe this will change in the future, we'll have to see.

    Tight lines
    Mark / Pool 32 Mag
