Dueling Consumer Fly Show Weekend
Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 12:00AM For the second straight year it's ISE vs The Fly Fishing Show this weekend in Denver.
The ISE show is definitely winning the ad war.
The irony in this Fly Show ad is that the image was taken by the Becks who are appearing at the competing ISE show, they're dead center in the image above.

Yep, last years FF show stop in Portland was a sad state. I think we had 2 isles of booths. This year they skipped the NW quad all together...nothing in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming. Yet they go out of their way to put one of the 6 total venues, 2 of which by the way are in California, in Pasadena?
I don't know about the anglers in Rancho Cucamonga, but Pasa-doughnuts ain't on my dance card...

Denver is pretty weak this year...again... after the AFFTA war last year this year is a bust too. Gonna hit the FFS tomorrow and see whats up, and maybe the ISE sunday even though 90% of the booths at ISE are of no interest to me at all.
Don't forget to catch the Becks program on how to take pictures!!!!
