Sept Slab of the Month Entry: Truckee River Brown Trout

Downstream from downtown Reno, Brian Johnson (no, not that Brian Johnson) caught and released this toad. A complex mixture of plastic bags and bum piss is believed to make fish here extra special.

Awesome fish.. We have a stream here in the east that grows huge browns thanks to the good ol fashion straight pipe. They definitely get their nutrients, since there is plenty to go around. Never wade with out hand sanitizer and waders.
Look at the shoulders on that haus! Robbed that it wasn't included in SOTM voting.
