Long time Chum bud Capt. Hessert is currently getting BFT blood on the deck within a solid throttle from Manhattan.

Interesting....slab of the month ofr a 6th month old BFT?? A legal fish is 72" from the dorsal fin.

Recreational Atlantic Tunas retention limits...
Charter/Head boats (while fishing recreationally) is 1 BFT Vessel/day/trip measuring 27 inches @ the fork to less than 47 inches and 1 BFT measuring 47 inches to less than 73 inches per vessel/day/trip.
Its a federal issue if you dont play by the rules

Sorry...YUM, YUM. I harvest 1 or 2 fish a season and this was one of those fish. Had to use the gaff to boat it, once thats done...
