I have only a few occasions to hang out with Ed, but they left lasting impressions and have made giant differences in both the way I approach casting, and fishing for steelhead. He is as close to a Zen Master as we have in this particular game. Looking forward to seeing the whole film.

P.S. If you want to learn to Skagit cast, or already do, I have ZERO doubt that this new film will help improve you delivery and understanding of why we do what we do.

[Skagit Playground Is Where I Spent Most Of My Days]

I have been fishing the Skagit since a kid and I don't know Ed Ward personally but I know who he is on the river and what I don't understand are the casts in this video. I have fished through a run behind Ed several times and watched him throw way nicer casts over and over than any in this video.

The same goes for the Kinney video that got posted a few places.

These guys must be camera shy? I don't blame them. Bringing a video camera fishing just seems wrong to me.
