A size 4 pink and black comet plus our buddy Rob Russell equals a big dime with Boeing engineered fins.
For some reason, this fish has me speechless, slack jawed, and mouth breathing.

Wish I didn't have such a damn doublechin in that shot. Or in general. But I was sinking in the mud and I think I was screaming for Rob to put down the damn camera and help me before I drowned.

i did not catch that fish, matt stansnugget did. i'll take credit for talking him through it, like when he had fallen down and was laying in the mud, too weak to put a bend in the rod. and i'm like "stansberry! on your feet, man!! this is the fish you were born for, for fuck's sake." wish you guys coulda seen it...
