Fine man, great message. Fight for them, your public lands and rivers, fellas. As Joni Mitchell once nearly sang, you’ll only realise what you had when they’ve been sold off to the highest bidder, become their exclusive playground and are gone. When great numbers of people fight to save something, there is a very good chance that it will be saved; yet the same coming noises from a private individual or small grouping will be seen as just so much special pleading and duly “No votes in this for us” ignored.
