Caught Barta on VS last night fly fishing somewhere in CO I think? Caught a 24.5" bow with a 1-wt. rod.

He was on the tailwaters of the Yampa just below Catamount Lake near Steamboat. Pretty awesome fishing water. I wonder if that fish died after he fought it for an hour.

After all Tred's been through. He deserves that BOW!!! Most of you would of crawled in bed & gave up.

I will have to look at this but Tred is about catching and knows how. I will watch this video yet have seen him teach a few young nameless bucks a thing or to. How to deal with multiple albacore hook ups at once..ask tred! The guy schooled the youth on watching the line and rod tips and made a mess a 3 drag screaming fighting bout. tes Tred was screaming the hole time...lesson learned. Since that day I carry his favorite color on all saltwater fly fishing ventures. Lime green machines I call them but really they should be called Barta Bombs...lesson learned!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can understand some get offended by a long battle, yet it happens. Just switch to 1 lb tippet and you will never harm any steelhead or trout and enjoy!
