Elk River Dry Fly with Kootenay Fly Shop

The Elk River flows directly through Fernie, B.C and is regarded as one of the province’s finest dry-fly fisheries.

The Elk is a 220-kilometer long freestone river that flows rich with nutrients, growing Cutthroat over 20 inches long. Bull Trout are the apex predator of the Elk, and are plentiful throughout the system and its tributaries.
