Canada’s Elections: Good News for Wild Fish


No matter how you slice it, the Harper Administration, which was dealt a stunning defeat in Canada’s election on Monday, was not a friend of wild fish. From their support of major mines in NW British Columbia to undercutting major environmental protections to destroying 600,000 fisheries science documents, wild fish did not fair well under the Harper Regime. With Harper on his way out, conservationists across Canada are rejoicing over many a Labatt Blue and Molson.
