One thought on “A History of the Entomology of Fly Fishing

  1. I studied at Cornell where i got my undergraduate degree. One of my Electives was Cultural Entomology.
I found out that my professor in that class, Professor Edgar Raffensperger was an avid fly fisherman and we spent many a time talking patterns and hatches after class and in his office. A great guy who could tell you something new about every insect you could think of. We never went fishing. That I regret. Reading this link brought me back to thinking of my Professor. No news in this excerpt for me, just great memories from 20+ years ago.
I consider myself lucky to have had a teacher like him. If only all of them were passionate about fly fishing…
